We Exist Because of YOU!
Welcome to the Vine Hill Elementary School PTA. We are a group of parents, teachers, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends who want a better educational experience for the kids of Vine Hill School.
We want our children to be inspired by all the different opportunities out there. Elementary school should be a time of enlightenment and discovery. It is important that we help provide an academic environment that is both enriching and in line with the state common core standards. Not only are we, the PTA, a voice at the national level, we are a voice for the children at Vine Hill.
There are so many things that we, the PTA, fund that benefit every single student. The programs we fund include art, music, computers, science and life lab. We help to make sure our children can learn in an environment that is safe and welcoming by funding yard duties and providing Academic Intervention Assistants to support the classrooms. Without the PTA these programs simply wouldn't exist.
Beyond these crucial programs, we are also able to fund cleaning equipment, landscaping, and supplies to help keep our school clean and fire safe. We are always looking for ways to make the school a better, safer and “smarter” environment in which to learn. We have also been able to provide technology upgrades like LadyBug projectors, a classroom set of iPads and a mobile computer lab.
The PTA isn’t just a group of “friends” that hang out and go to meetings – we are a group of parents and community members who want to make a difference and support the children and teachers of Vine Hill School. Being a PTA member doesn’t mean you HAVE to attend meetings – it means you support the kids that go the Vine Hill Elementary and believe in the opportunities that the PTA works hard to provide.
The Vine Hill Parent Teacher Association will require $420 for each and every child regardless of whether you get involved or not. That’s a lot and it continues to grow. That is why we need YOU - we need you to help make a difference by supporting the programs the children love.
